Dr. Jennifer Shim, DDS, MSD

Orthodontist

Dr. Jennifer Shim, DDS, MSD, is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned a B.S. in 2014, a D.D.S. in 2018, and a M.S. in Dentistry with an Orthodontics Certificate in 2020. She is also certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Shim's commitment to excellence is evident through numerous awards, including the Alexander Fellowship, International College of Dentists Leadership Award, William Kramer Award of Excellence, and numerous others. Her voluntary work spans the Virginia Mission of Mercy from 2014-2021 and VCU Give Kids a Smile. Dr. Shim’s philosophy is centered on patient education and inspiration, and she is passionate about how a smile can influence one’s life.

Dr. Shim is a dog enthusiast with four furry companions and hopes for a full farm of dogs. She also finds joy in baking and indulging in Netflix series.
